Brittany Underwood (born July 6,[1] 1988) is an American actress and singer from New Jersey. She is most recognizable for her role as teenager Langston Wilde, Starr Manning's closest and most loyal friend, on the daytime soap opera One Life to Live, a role she originated in 2006.
Underwood's first television role was in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She has also previously auditioned for the title role in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana, but lost out to Miley Cyrus. She starred as Loren Tate on the TeenNick drama Hollywood Heights.
Underwood is of Colombian descent through her mother and has an older sister named Brigitte. She speaks fluent Spanish and is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
In an interview with SOAPnet in 2010, Underwood said she was currently in college researching neuroscience, and such diseases as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
In 2012 Underwood returned to the acting scene in the main role of Loren Tate in the TeenNick/Nickelodeon series Hollywood Heights
Underwood officially began a singing career in 2012. On December 18, 2012, Underwood released a single called "Flow" and more songs like Pull me in again, Black Window, Calfornia Wild, Love Me Now Or let Me Go, Shine and High Heels High Hopes all are on her EP in Itunes and Youtube.
