Kate Walsh (born 17 June 1981) is an English television presenter and former licensing development manager who came to the public's attention in March 2009 whilst appearing as a candidate in the fifth series of The Apprentice.
Kate Elizabeth Rosalie Barrington-Walsh was born in Staffordshire. She has a BSc degree in Psychology and Management from Aston University, Birmingham.
In 2009, Walsh took part in series 5 of The Apprentice where she competed for a job working for Sir Alan Sugar however she finished as runner up to Yasmina Siadatan. She lives in the Hampshire village of Alresford, near Alton.
After her stint on the show, Walsh hosted a women's fashion segment on GMTV, appearing for a number of episodes. After her employment with GMTV, Walsh was hired as a presenter for Live from Studio Five for Five, which she co-presents with Jayne Middlemiss, and formerly Melinda Messenger, Ian Wright, and Emma Willis. Walsh is now the show's longest serving, and only remaining original presenter.
