Carly Baker is a Model/Dancer/Singer/Actress/Presenter from South West London. Her career started at the early age of 14 when she won a modelling competition for the teenage magazine Shout, the prize being the face of Tammy Girl, being on all the shop windows, being signed to an agency and the cover and fashion spread in Shout magazine. Her modelling led onto magazines such as J17, Bliss, Shout etc campaigns for BHS, Marks and Spencers, Sunny Delight commercial etc.

Her next step was singing and at the age of 15 years old, she was signed to Fuji International Record Company F2, being put as a girl duo with a girl called Gemma, the Record Company called the girls Mynxsters they went on to do arena tours with the boyband Five, Westlife and performed with Lionel Richie at the Dome. Many TV interview apperances with Popworld, Nickoldeon, Disney Channel, Five News, MTV, The Box when they released the song Hello Kitty. They did many summer roadshows and then went onto cover The Cure song Without you.

Carly then went onto being signed on a development deal by BMG Records, being put with a girl group called Holla which was four girls including Jade Jacobs from Holby City. This didn work out and her A&R put her with two different girls Candice Kidd and Jade Cannell and they become the girl group called SW1 they were still signed to BMG Records alongside the likes of Kasabian and Usher and continued to co write with top producers and artists. They were offered a two single deal and option of an album but the management wasnt happy with the deal so shopped the girls to London Records, the girls signed with them and went onto co write with the likes of Gary Barlow, Lucie silvas, Mike Peden, Merlyn, StarGate, travelling around the world and performing many gigs. After working with the Record Company for a year, unfortunately London Records went bust. They continued for a while but then went their seperate ways. They are still very close and in touch.

Carly then went straight back into the modelling world, being signed to a top agency. Carly has done commercials such as:

Guitar Heroes, SingStar - Playstation, Your Fit CD Anthems Advert, Ministry Of Sound Big Tunes, Quiz Call TV etc

Covers of magazines, Newspapers - The Sun, Daily Star, Daily Mail etc
