Peyton List (born August 8, 1986 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American actress.

Early life

List was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up with her older sister Brittany and her parents Sherri and Douglass. She went to the Roland Park Country School in Baltimore. At the age of eight she went to a childrens advertising agency in Washington to look for employment in toy advertisements and related fields and eventually made an appearance in a advertisement for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.

As the sisters grew up, Brittany began modelling in New York, with Peyton joining her at the age of 12 to attend the School of American Ballet's summer program. During the same summer, Peyton was signed by both modelling and acting agencies (Ford Models, Innovative Artists). Soon, List was leaving school three or four times a week for modelling assignments, as she was acknowledged to be a perfect children's size 10. She was soon working on the catwalk, as well as finding work in catalogues and in children's advertising campaigns. At 15, she landed a contract role on As the World Turns playing Lucy Montgomery.

Education

List went to the Roland Park Country School in Baltimore and studied at the School of American Ballet in New York City where she also performed on stage.

Career

List won a minor role in "Sex And The City" and began to love acting. Following her appearance on the HBO series, she screen tested for the part of Lucy Montgomery on As The World Turns and was eventually offered the role.

List has also portrayed Tally Reida on NBC's, Windfall and Solaris, a 15 year old model, in the CW's One Tree Hill. In 2007 she had a role in ABC's Big Shots, where she played the role of Cameron Collinsworth, daughter of a cosmetics firm CEO played by Dylan McDermott. Additionally, she starred in an episode of "Without A Trace" as a troubled prostitute searching for her daughter. Her latest role is in AMC's Mad Men as Don Draper's fill-in secretary, Jane Siegel. She guest starred in an episode of the 2007 CBS series "Moonlight", and her most recent TV role was in the episode of "Ghost Whisperer" which aired on October 24, 2008. She portrayed a ghost who had died on a cruise liner in the 1970s.

She is also a New York based Ford model and is due to star in the upcoming horror thriller Shuttle.

Peyton Roi List ( born on April 6, 1998 ) is an American actress and model. She is best known for the role, Emma Ross in Jessie and Young Jane in 27 vestidos (2008). She has also appeared in El aprendiz de brujo (2010), Diario de Greg 2: La ley de Rodrick (2011), Bereavement (2010).

She wanted to be an actress when she was young, after her mom took her to see a show on Broadway. She is one of the actors who started acting career early. At age 4, her family moved to NY and she appeared in As the World Turns. She played Young Jane in 27 vestidos (2008) which is released in 2008 and she is often recognized for this role. In 2010, She appeared in several films. She played Young Becky in El aprendiz de brujo (2010), her well-known career, and also played Wendy Miller in Bereavement (2010) with Spencer List. Also, she played Molly in Secretos en las paredes (2010) with Jeri Ryan, Kay Panabaker, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste, which was aired on October 24, 2010.

Jessie (2011), which Peyton starring with Debby Ryan, Cameron Boyce, Karan Brar , Skai Jackson, and Kevin Chamberlin, is released on September 30, 2011 and aired by Disney.

In 2011, She played the role, Holly Hills in Diario de Greg 2: La ley de Rodrick (2011) with Zachary Gordon, written by Jeff Kinney. She is also often recognized for this role. The following year, she played the same role in Diario de Greg 3: Días de perros (2012). In the same year, she voiced the role, Eve in The Dog Who Saved the Holidays (2012) and it was aired on December 4, 2012. In 2013, Hermanas de sangre (2013) was released which Peyton played a role, Emily with Kelly Rutherford and Natasha Henstridge.

She likes the fantasy like the Crepúsculo (2008) and Los juegos del hambre (2012) series. She enjoys theatre, riding her bike, water sports, and songwriting. Peyton is hard at work writing songs for her debut album and devotes her spare time to Girls on the Run, a youth development program for young woman. Peyton resides in Los Angeles but she says her heart remains in Brooklyn, NY where she grew up. She lives at home with parents John and Suzanne, twin brother Spencer and younger brother Phoenix. Their rescue dogs, Windsor and Gatsby, round out the household. She can also be seen in movies, like 3 Backyards (2010), and The Trouble with Cali (2012).
