Krysta Rodriguez (born on July 23, 1984) is an American actress. She grew up in Orange County, California and attended the Orange County High School of the Arts. There, she had a chance to play the title role in a production of Gidget that was directed by Francis Ford Coppola. At 17, she enrolled in the musical theater training program, CAP 21, at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Her first major role on Broadway was Wednesday Addams in the 2010 musical The Addams Family. She was also in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line in 2007, playing the role of Bebe. She has performed as an ensemble member and understudy in other Broadway shows including In the Heights (2008), Spring Awakening (2006–2007) and Good Vibrations (2005). In a 2005 national tour of The Boy Friend, directed by Julie Andrews, she played Fey.
