2008
Beck enters her SENIOR season as an outside hitter/middle hitter for the Golden Bears... trained with the U.S. Women's National Indoor Volleyball team in the spring.

2007
As a JUNIOR, Beck received All-Pac-10 honorable mention for the second season in a row... finished third on the team in total blocks with 114 (1.03 bpg)... notched a career-high eight total blocks at USC on Oct. 26... contributed 265 kills on the season (2.39 kpg), which was fourth most on the team... selected to the Golden Bear Invitational all-tournament team, tallying 25 kills with a .439 hitting percentage over the course of three matches... posted a season-high 18 kills (4e, 33att, .424) against UCLA on Oct. 27 in Cal's historic win at Pauley Pavilion... invited to participate in the USA Volleyball National team open tryouts in Colorado Spring, Colo.

2006
As a SOPHOMORE, Beck received All-Pac-10 honorable mention... was second on the team in total blocks with 127, eighth in the Pac-10 and sixth on the Cal all-time single-season list... her 306 kills (2.78 kpg) were third among Bears... hit .429 with nine kills against Stanford in the NCAA regional in Austin, Texas... had 15 kills with a .444 hitting percentage (3e, 27att) and five total blocks in the NCAA second round at Cal Poly Dec. 2... posted 11 kills with a .412 hitting percentage (4e, 17att) and five total blocks versus LSU in the NCAA first round Dec. 1... recorded double figures in kills in eight straight matches from Oct. 12-Nov. 10, including 15 kills against Oregon Oct. 19 and at Arizona Oct. 27... had a career-high three service aces versus Oregon State Oct. 20... put down a season-high 16 kills with a .467 hitting percentage at UCLA Oct. 12... hit .409 (11k, 2e, 22att) with six total blocks versus Arizona Sept. 30... had a career-high 14 digs, three block solos and eight total blocks versus UC Davis Aug. 26... recorded a then career-high seven block assists versus Xavier Sept. 1 and Pepperdine Sept. 9... named to the Golden Bear Invitational all-tournament team.

As a FRESHMAN, Beck was selected to the Pac-10 All-Freshman team... finished second on the team in kills (342), kills per game (3.26 kpg) and points (380.0, 3.62 ppg)... recorded 17 kills at Stanford Nov. 18... had a team-leading 14 kills against Arizona and 16 kills versus Arizona State Nov. 10-11... notched 14 kills at Washington Nov. 4 and 15 kills versus Oregon State Oct. 27... set a career-high 19 kills versus NCAA champion Washington Oct. 7... had 14 kills at Oregon Sept. 29... recorded 15 kills over Albany Sept. 4 and 15 again over Akron Sept. 17... was a member of the USA Junior National team that competed at the Under-20 World Championships July 23-31, 2005, in Ankara, Istanbul, Turkey.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Beck was a 2005 Mizuno High School All-American at San Clemente High School in San Clemente, Calif.... established four school records as a senior in 2004 - 544 kills in a season, .497 hitting percentage, 39 kills in a match and 11 service aces in a match... named South Coast League MVP, All-CIF Southern Section and All-Orange County first team... tabbed as a PrepVolleyball.com All-American and Fab 50 selection as well (nation's No. 26 top recruit)... selected to the youth national training team in 2003... received first-team All-Pacific Coast League and All-CIF Southern Section honors as a sophomore in 2002... helped her club win the Volleyball Festival Championship as a member of the Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club in 2003 and 2004.

Morgan Elizabeth Beck was born in Newport Beach, Calif.... parents are Ed and Cindy Beck... has a sister, Erin (35), and a brother, Garrett (19), a member of the Cal crew team... cousin, Brandon Beck, was a member of Cal's men's golf team from 2003-08... majoring in sociology.
