Kasia (auch "Kesia") Madera, Tochter polnischer Eltern, geb. als Katarzyna Madera am 4 November 1976 in London. Britische Journalistin, studierte zuerst Französisch und Politik, später Journalismus - jeweils mit abgelegtem Diplom. Zuerst sporadisch Nachrichtensprecherin bei BBC News und BBC World News von Dienstags bis Sonntags (Einsatzoprte London und Singapur) ist sie seit 2013 eine der Chefsprecherinnen der Nachrichten auf diesen Sendern.
