Janine Strahl-Oesterreich, geboren 1959 in Stralsund, lebt seit 1983 in Berlin. Witwe von Bob Strahl. Studium der Skandinavistik und Philosophie in Greifswald, anschließend Moderatorin und Redakteurin in der Dänischen Redaktion von »Radio Berlin International«, 1991 Wechsel zum Fernsehen, hauptsächlich bei MDR, rbb, NDR tätig. Vielseitige Tätigkeit in den Programmbereichen Unterhaltung, Kultur und Zeitgeschehen.
