Mo Asumang

Mo Yaa akoma Asumang (bürgerlich Monika Asumang * 13. Juni 1963 in Kassel) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin, Sängerin, Fernsehmoderatorin und Synchronsprecherin.

Sie moderierte bei ProSieben von 1997 bis 2000 die TV-Show Liebe Sünde und synchronisierte unter anderem die Rolle der Ensign Seska in der US-amerikanischen Fernsehserie Star Trek: Raumschiff Voyager.
Die vielseitige Künstlerin mit der tiefen Stimme lebt in Berlin und ist dort Geschäftsführerin einer Produktionsfirma von Filmen und Fernsehbeiträgen. Sie wurde 2006 mit einem Adler Award in der Kategorie „Best Black Media Entertainer“ ausgezeichnet, der von der African Youth Foundation verliehen wurde.
