Charley Webb (born Charlotte Anne Webb on February 26, 1988 in Bury, Greater Manchester, England) is an English actress. She is best known for portraying Debbie Dingle in the ITV1 soap opera Emmerdale.

Biography

Before landing the role of Debbie, she previously appeared on the stage in Manchester in a production of Bugsy Malone when she was eight. She attended Philips High School in Bury.

Her father died shortly before she landed her role in Emmerdale. Charley has a twin sister, Emma, and two older sisters Kelly and Cassie Lomas. Her older brother Jamie Lomas is also an actor, who currently plays Warren Fox on the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks. Her younger brother Daniel Webb, was seen on Emmerdale as Aaron Livesy, and her younger sister Lucy Webb played baby Jon Dingle in the soap. Her second cousin is Matt Webb, Brookside co-star and Quiz TV and Radio Presenter from Cambridge. Charley currently lives in Leeds.

Personal life

Charley was reported to have had a brief, whirlwind romance with George Bouras, a 19 year-old student from the Bognor Regis in West Sussex. They were spotted many times canoodling together in the nightspots of Brighton. After George left the South for university in October 2007, they split up acrimoniously. Charley is currently going out with Oldham Athletic footballer Matthew Wolfenden.
