Louisa damn near made it as an actress in her native France. Sadly, in France, as in America, “damn near” doesn’t pay the bills, and after her lone appearance in 1985’s ~L'Effrontée~, Louisa’s career went kaput. Nevertheless, she made the most of her role, spending the better part of her time on screen completely nude, albeit in the completely non-sexual situation of carrying on a conversation with a young Charlotte Gainsbourg. Regardless, it’s worth a look…even if it ~is~ a bit uncomfortable.
