Julia Lescova was born in Latvia and studied music and dance from a young age, enrolled by her mother in ballet school at age 5, and piano at age 7. She studied Latin American and ballroom dancing for 7 years before taking an interest in modeling.[4]
ulia was noticed by Latvia’s most prestigious modeling agency and within a year, was working consistently. She landed her first cover for a national Latvian magazine at age 16.[5]
In 2011, she appeared in Esquire Magazine for the series, "Me in My Place."[6]
She has modeled for Valentino Garavani, Michael Kors, Pierre Cardin, Giambattista Valli, Mark Jacobs, Bulgari, Armani, and Vivienne Westwood.[7]
