Lila Diane Sawyer is an American television journalist and is the current
anchor of ABC World News.
She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on Dec. 22, 1945. She has had a
distinguished political and broadcasting career. In 2001, she was named
one of the thirty most-powerful women in America.
