Once upon a time, Lyndsey Scott was just your average girl from Jersey who
dreamt of one day becoming a model. And after posting her head shot online
on Models.com, her prince came calling in the form of Jules Birnbaum Watson.
Lyndsey had gone to a few agency open calls, but when the agent from Click
Models saw her photos, he called the aspiring model directly for an
appointment to meet and her fate was sealed.
Born on December 7, 1990, in New Jersey, Lyndsey is still writing the fairy
tale she started. After signing to Click in 2008, she became the first black
model to score an exclusive with Calvin Klein for February 2009 season
—which also marked her runway debut.
After such a momentous debut, Lyndsey was featured in the August 2009
issue of Italian Elle as well as the Fall/Winter issue of Pop. Plus she
dominated the Spring 2010 runways, walking for designers like Louis Vuitton,
Giambattista Valli, Costume National, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, L'Wren Scott, and
DKNY among others. Oh, and did we mention that she also landed a spot in
the Fall ad campaigns for both Baby Phat and DKNY?
Even though her career shows no sign of slowing down, Lyndsey finds herself
rifling through vintage stores racks and loves getting deep tissue massages
to keep a well-balanced outlook. But like any true Jersey girl will tell you, it's
her friends and family that are most important to her.
