Melanie Chisholm

Melanie Jayne Chisholm (* 12. Januar 1974 in Whiston bei Liverpool, Merseyside), auch bekannt als Melanie C oder Mel C, ist eine britische Sängerin und Songschreiberin, die durch ihre Mitgliedschaft bei der Band Spice Girls berühmt wurde. Dort war sie sowohl als "Mel C" als auch "Sporty Spice" bekannt, weil sie bei Auftritten für Flickflacks und ähnliche sportliche Kunststücke zuständig war. 1998 begann sie als Melanie C eine erfolgreiche Solokarriere. Melanie C hat mehr als 105 Millionen Platten verkauft, darunter 20 Millionen als Solo-Künstler und mehr als 85 Millionen mit den Spice Girls.
