Annabel Scholey (* Januar 1984 in Yorkshire, England) ist eine britische Schauspielerin.



Leben

Annabel Scholey wurde im Januar 1984 in Yorkshire geboren. Sie wuchs in Wakefield auf. Ihre Mutter war eine Krankenschwester und ihr Vater war ein Feuerwehrmann. Mit 14 Jahren begann Annabel Scholey sich für die Schauspielerei zu interessieren. Sie besuchte die Schauspielschule „The Oxford School of Drama“, die sie 2005 erfolgreich abschloss. Nach ihrer Schul- und Schauspielausbildung trat sie zunächst in London in einigen Theaterstücken auf. Einen größeren Bekanntheitsgrad erlangte Annabel Scholey durch ihre Darstellung der Vampirin Lauren Drake in der britischen Fernsehserie Being Human.

Im Jahr 2014 drehte sie die Hauptrolle Maddie im Musicalfilm Walking on Sunshine. Dieser Film erschien im Juni 2014 in den britischen Kinos und wird voraussichtlich im September 2014 in den deutschen Kinos zu sehen sein.
