Christina Plate
Christina "Tini" Plate (* 21. April 1965 in Berlin) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin.
Christina Plate begann schon als Sechsjährige mit Werbeaufnahmen für Kinderbekleidung und trat zusammen mit ihrer Mutter in Werbespots auf. Nach ihrem Bildschirmdebüt als Elfjährige in der ZDF-Fernsehserie "Kinder, Kinder"[1] spielte sie u.a. an der Seite von Thomas Ohrner in Manni, der Libero und arbeitete als Synchronsprecherin – sie entschied sich jedoch nach dem Abschluss der Schule zunächst zu einem Sportstudium, das sie 1985 mit dem Staatsexamen als Gymnastiklehrerin abschloss. Ihr Durchbruch als Schauspielerin gelang ihr 1987 in der Fernsehserie "Praxis Bülowbogen" und sie wurde 1988 mit dem Bambi ausgezeichnet. Kurze Zeit später, nachdem sie am Set zusammengebrochen war, musste sie ihre Magersucht eingestehen (1989) und sich einer Therapie unterziehen. 1990 folgte eine chronische Nierenbecken-Entzündung. In der Folge wählte sie ihre Rollen gezielter, um die psychische Belastung in Grenzen zu halten. Sie ist weiterhin in vielen Fernsehfilmen und -serien zu sehen. Plate heiratete 1992 den Kameramann Jörg Slotty, von dem sie seit 1999 getrennt lebte und 2000 geschieden wurde. Sie lebte danach mit dem Kostümbildner Klaus Bergmann und der gemeinsamen Tochter Lola Maria (* 2000) in Hamburg. 2007 trennte sich das Paar einvernehmlich. 2004 nahm sie ein Angebot des Playboy für ein Photoshooting mit Titelbild in der Juliausgabe des Magazins an.
