Gundula Gause
 

Gundula Gause (* 30. April 1965 in Berlin) ist eine deutsche Nachrichtenmoderatorin im ZDF.

Gause studierte in Paris und Mainz Politikwissenschaft, mittlere und neuere Geschichte und Publizistik, Abschluss 1997 als Magistra Artium, zeitgleich moderierte sie im Privatradio und bei Sat.1. Seit 1989 ist sie beim ZDF Redakteurin und Moderatorin, unter anderem für die Magazine Nachbarn und Morgenmagazin, zurzeit vor allem für das heute-journal, wo sie seit 1993 Co-Moderatorin ist.

Gundula Gause ist mit dem Mainzer Zahnarzt, Vorsitzenden des FDP-Kreisverbandes und stellvertretendem Vorsitzenden der rheinland-pfälzischen FDP-Landtagsfraktion Dr. Peter Schmitz verheiratet. Die beiden haben zwei Kinder.
