Silke Spiegelburg
 

Silke Spiegelburg (* 17. März 1986 in Georgsmarienhütte) ist eine deutsche Leichtathletin, Olympiateilnehmerin und Mitglied im Verein Bayer 04 Leverkusen (früher TV Lengerich). Ihr Trainer ist Leszek Klima. Vorher wurde sie von ihrem Vater Ansgar Spiegelburg trainiert.

Silke Spiegelburg gilt als das größte Talent Deutschlands im Stabhochsprung. Sie wurde bereits Deutsche Meisterin (2005), U20-Europameisterin (2003 und 2005) und U18-Weltmeisterin (2001) und sprang am 26. August 2005 beim internationalen Stabhochsprung-Meeting im westfälischen Münster neuen Junioren-Weltrekord (U20) mit 4,48 m, den bis dahin die russische Stabhochspringerin Jelena Issinbajewa hielt. Außerdem nahm sie an den Olympischen Spielen in Athen 2004 teil und qualifizierte sich dort für das Finale. Sie ist ebenfalls für die Olympischen Spiele 2008 in Peking qualifiziert.

Ihre persönliche Bestleistung liegt bei 4,70m und wurde am 11. Juli 2008 beim Golden-League-Meeting in Rom aufgestellt.

Silke Spiegelburg hat bei einer Größe von 1,73 m ein Wettkampfgewicht von 61 kg.

Sie ist Schwester des ebenfalls erfolgreichen deutschen Stabhochspringers Richard Spiegelburg.

* 2004: Olympiafinalistin Athen (Platz 13)
* 2005: U20-Weltrekord (4,48m), U20-Europameisterin in Kaunas/Litauen und Deutsche Meisterin in Bochum/Wattenscheid
* 2006: 8. Hallen-WM Moskau, Deutsche Meisterin in Ulm, 6. Platz bei der Europameisterschaft
