Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned, DBE (Arabic: موزا بنت ناصر المسند‎), born 8 August 1959 in Al-Khor (Qatar), the daughter of Nasser bin Abdullah Al Missned is the second of the three wives of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, former Emir of the State of Qatar.[1]

Her father, Nasser bin Abdullah Al Missned (died in 2007), was an opponent of Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, the former Emir.[citation needed] He was also a political dissident of his predecessor, Ahmad bin Ali Al Thani. He played a prominent role in the Qatar National Unity Front, a nationalist movement which was co-founded by his father in 1963. He received a jail sentence for his role in the movement during a government crackdown in May of 1963.[2] He immigrated to Kuwait after he was released from prison in 1965,[3][4] returning to Qatar after two years.[3]

Sheikah Mozah married the Emir (at the time Heir Apparent) in 1977 at the age of 18, while she was attending Qatar University. She received her BA degree in Sociology from there in 1986.
