Stefanie Giesinger (* 27. August 1996 in Kaiserslautern) ist ein deutsches Fotomodell und Mannequin

Leben

Als Kind litt Stefanie Giesinger an immer wiederkehrenden Bauchschmerzen. Ihr chronischer Volvulus blieb von Ärzten jahrelang unerkannt und wurde stattdessen als Essstörung psychologisch behandelt. Im Alter von 13 Jahren rettete ihr in einem kritischen Zustand eine mehrstündige Operation das Leben.

Mit 17 Jahren nahm die 1,77m große Schülerin des Gymnasiums am Rittersberg in Kaiserslautern an der neunten Staffel der Castingshow Germany’s Next Topmodel teil, die ab Februar 2014 ausgestrahlt wurde. Über 15.000 Kandidatinnen hatten sich beworben. Giesinger gehörte zu den 70 ausgewählten Bewerberinnen, die von der Jury um Heidi Klum, Thomas Hayo und Wolfgang Joop zu einem Casting ins Berliner Tempodrom eingeladen wurden. Am 8. Mai 2014 entschied sie das Finale während einer Live-Show in der Kölner Lanxess Arena für sich und verwies die beiden anderen Finalistinnen Jolina Fust und Ivana Teklic auf die Plätze 2 und 3.
