Robyn Lawley ist nicht das klassische Model mit dem perfekt schlanken Körper - aber sie verzaubert trotzdem die Modewelt. Sie gilt in der Modelwelt als "wahres Superdupermodel". Allerdings hat die 24-jährige Australierin einen kleinen Schönheitsfehler. Dafür wird sie diffamiert - hält aber tapfer dagegen. Sie ist das Supermodel „ohne Lücke zwischen den Schenkeln“ (keinen Thigh Gap = keine Lücke zwischen den Schenkeln, wenn ihre Beine eng beieinanderstehen).
Dennoch hat Robyn Lawley in ihrem Beruf viel erreicht. Die Australierin war das erste Plus-Size-Model, das den Titel der italienischen "Vogue" zierte, sie wurde unter anderem von Ralph Lauren engagiert und für nahezu alle großen Modemagazine fotografiert. Die Chefredakteurin der australischen "Vogue" lobte ihre Schönheit und Anmut. Mittlerweile gibt sie ihre eigene Bademodenkollektion heraus.
