Ruth Lena Nilsson, born January 4, 1962 in Stockholm, is a Swedish actor.

Nilsson went to the Theatre Academy in Stockholm in 1990. After graduation, she has been much on stage, mostly in Dramatic Theatre but also the Plaza and the schooner, all of these located in Stockholm. At the Royal Dramatic she participated in performances that Albee's Variations on Zoo Story, Albee's Three tall women, Ibsen's The Wild Duck and Miller's Death of a Salesman. in 2001, she directed hrr own play Lotta Art Academy at Kilen scene at Kulturhuset in Stockholm. She co-founded Theatre Plaza 1994
