Megan QT wuchs in Berlin auf, wo sie auch die Schule besuchte und eine Ausbildung zur Erzieherin absolvierte. Entdeckt wurde Megan QT im Jahre 2001 im Alter von 18 Jahren von den deutschen Produzenten Nils Molitor und Klaus Goldberg in der Berliner Diskothek Q-Dorf. Sie stieg im Februar 2002, kurz nach ihrem 19. Geburtstag, ganz in die Sex-Branche ein. Ihr Künstlername Megan QT ist eine Verballhornung von Tiramisù, dem Namen einer italienischen Süßspeise. Die Produzenten veröffentlichten im Jahre 2002 mit ihr den Film Die megageile Küken-Farm (u. a. zusammen mit Sibel Kekilli als "Dilara"), der sich auf Anhieb unter den Top 10-Filmen der deutschen Hardcore-Bestsellerliste positionierte. Schnell folgten weitere Filme, wie beispielsweise das preisgekrönte Werk Die 8. Sünde und Ein Sommertagstraum. Bereits im Jahr 2002 wurde Megan QT beim Venus Award als beste Nachwuchsdarstellerin nominiert. Zwei Jahre später gelang dann der große Erfolg: Megan QT wurde auf der Venus 2004 als Beste Darstellerin ausgezeichnet.

2006 erschien der Film Elementarteilchen nach dem gleichnamigen Buch des französischen Autors Michel Houellebecq, in dem sie in einer kleinen Nebenrolle eine Kellnerin spielt. Am 6. Juli 2007 (co-)moderierte sie zum ersten Mal die Sendung "La Notte", auf 9Live. Außerdem ist sie regelmäßig in kleineren Szenen neben Simon Gosejohann in seiner Sendung Comedystreet zu sehen. Ende 2007 spielte sie in der deutschen Liebeskomödie Keinohrhasen mit den Hauptdarstellern Til Schweiger und Nora Tschirner eine Pornodarstellerin.
