Kate Voegele
 

Kate Elizabeth Voegele (* 8. Dezember 1986 in Bay Village, Ohio, USA) ist eine US-amerikanische Sängerin, Komponistin, Gitarristin und Pianistin. Voegele ist derzeit bei MySpace Records unter Vertrag, welches zu der Plattenfirma Interscope Records gehört.


Band

Voegeles Band besteht aus Mark Tobik (Bass), Sam Getz (Gitarre, Mandoline und weitere) und natürlich aus Voegele selbst (Sängerin).

Auftritte und Preise

Voegele trat im Jahre 2004 bei Farm Aid zusammen mit Künstler wie Dave Matthews, Willie Nelson, Neil Young und John Mellencamp auf. Im Februar 2005 veröffentlichte sie ihr zweites Album Louder than Words welches ihr zu einem höheren Bekanntheitsgrad verhalf.

Ihre Single Only Fooling Myself hat beim USA Songwriting Competition at Borders Books & Music in Austin, TX Wettbewerb großes Lob bekommen.

Außerdem gewann sie den New York City Songwriter's circle 2006.
