Mara (real name Marina Nesterova) was born in 1979, and had begun to sing when she was quite young. Her developing music career was helped by the famous band Tequilajazzz, for which Mara originally performed as a warm-up act. Mara became popular in the early 2000’s with support from Nashe Radio.
