Katee Sackhoff
Kathryn „Katee“ Ann Sackhoff (* 8. April 1980 in Portland, Oregon) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.
Sackhoff schloss die High School im Jahre 1998 ab und hatte in diesem Jahr ihre erste Rolle in dem Fernsehfilm Fifteen and Pregnant. Es folgten Gastauftritte in den Serien Emergency Room (2002), Boomtown (2003) und Cold Case (2004), sowie in Halloween: Resurrection (2002). Zwei weitere Filme sollen 2007 veröffentlicht werden (The Last Sentinel und White Noise 2). Einem breiten Publikum wurde Sackhoff durch ihre Rolle als Kara ‚Starbuck‘ Thrace, in der Science Fiction Serie Battlestar Galactica bekannt. Dort spielte sie von 2003 bis 2007 eine der Hauptrollen für die sie 2006 den Saturn Award als beste Nebendarstellerin in einer Fernsehserie erhielt. Sackhoff wirkt auch im Pilotfilm zur Neuauflage der Serie The Bionic Woman (en) mit, welche vom amerikanischen Sender NBC ausgestrahlt wird, und nimmt dort die Rolle einer Gegenspielerin der Serienheldin Jamie Sommers ein.
