Sky Ferreira (* 8. Juli 1992 in Los Angeles) ist eine US-amerikanische Sängerin portugiesischer Abstammung.


Biografie

Mit 14 brachte Ferreira die schwedischen Produzenten Bloodshy & Avant dazu, sie unter Vertrag zu nehmen. In den folgenden vier Jahren arbeitete sie selbst an ihrem Debütalbum. 2009 folgten erste Veröffentlichungen. In Großbritannien erschien der Song One, der ihr auf Anhieb einen Charterfolg bescherte. In den USA wurde das von Ryan Tedder von One Republic geschriebene Obsession ausgewählt, das auch in den Soundtrack der Fernsehserie Vampire Diaries aufgenommen wurde.

Anfang 2011 erscheint ihr Debütalbum.
