Solange Piaget Knowles (* 24. Juni 1986 in Houston, Texas) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Sängerin, Songwriterin und Produzentin.

Leben

Solange Knowles wurde am 24. Juni 1986 als Tochter von Mathew und Tina Knowles geboren. Sie ist die jüngere Schwester der Sängerin und Schauspielerin Beyoncé.

Im Februar 2004 heiratete sie Daniel Smith. Ihr gemeinsamer Sohn kam im Oktober 2004 zur Welt. Im Oktober 2007 gaben sie ihre Scheidung bekannt.

Musikalische Karriere

Im Jahr 2002 veröffentlichte sie ihre Debutsingle "Feelin' You", ihr erstes Album "Solo Star" folgte am 21. Januar 2003.

Außerdem steuerte sie für das Weihnachtsalbum "8 days of christmas" von Destinys Child zwei Lieder bei.

Als Songwriterin war sie bereits für Destinys Child, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Beyoncé und Trin-I-Tee 5:7 tätig.
