Samaire Armstrong
 

Samaire Rhys Armstrong (* 31. Oktober 1980 in Tokio) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Samaire Armstrong wurde in Japan geboren, ihre Familie zog dann wieder in die USA. Samaire besuchte die Sedona Red Rock Highschool und schloss diese 1998 ab. Danach besuchte sie die University of Arizona.

Sie begann ihre Karriere 2000 als Nebendarstellerin in mehreren Fernsehserien, u. a. The Hobbit. Ihren ersten Auftritt in einem Kinofilm hatte sie 2001 in Nicht noch ein Teenie-Film. 2003 spielte sie für kurze Zeit die Nebenrolle Anna Stern in der Fernsehserie O.C., California. Darüber hinaus war Armstrong in diversen Musikvideos verschiedenen Künstler zu sehen, u. a. von Hanson (Penny & Me) und Daniel Powter (Bad Day).

In Japan bietet sie eine eigene Modekollektion namens „NARU“ an.

Ihr Name wird Samira ausgesprochen, ihr Spitzname ist „SaSa“ .

Für 2007 ist ein neuer Film mit ihr angesetzt „Around June“, in dem sie die Hauptrolle übernimmt.
