Franziska Knuppe
 

Franziska Knuppe (* 7. Dezember 1974 in Rostock) ist ein deutsches Model.

Die Tochter einer Potsdamer Kinderärztin wurde 1974 in Rostock geboren. Franziska Knuppe wuchs mit einem Bruder in Potsdam auf. Nach dem Abitur zog sie 1993 nach München und machte bis 1996 eine Ausbildung zur Hotelfachfrau im Hotel Park Hilton. Danach zog sie zurück nach Potsdam, um sich dort einem Studium der Betriebswirtschaft zu widmen. 1997 wurde sie vom deutschen Modeschöpfer Wolfgang Joop in einem Potsdamer Café entdeckt.

Seitdem war sie Gesicht von Kampagnen von Triumph, Joop, Oasis und Reebok. Sie wurde auf den Coverseiten von GQ Deutschland, der deutschen Elle, der griechischen Vogue, Petra, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire und Brigitte abgedruckt. Sie lief Schauen für Thierry Mugler, Diane von Fürstenberg, Joop, Escada, Rocobarocco, Wunderkind Couture, Jasper Conran, Betty Jackson, Strenesse, Vivienne Westwood, Issey Miyake und wurde von Fotografen wie Peter Lindbergh, Karl Lagerfeld, Michel Comte und Arthur Elgort fotografiert.

Franziska Knuppe unterstützt gemeinnützige Projekte wie die Aktion „power to write“ des Unternehmens Montblanc, einen Verein für die Heilung von Brustkrebs, die Aktion „Tolerantes Brandenburg“ und die „Ein Herz für Kinder“-Gala in Berlin. 2008 moderierte sie die Sendung "Supermodel" auf dem Schweizer Fernsehsender 3+.

Sie ist seit 1999 verheiratet und seit 2007 Mutter einer Tochter.
