Amrita Rao (* 17. Juni 1981, Chitrapur, Karnataka) ist eine indische Schauspielerin, die auch als Model tätig ist.

Sie machte ihr Filmdebüt in Ab Ke Baras, jedoch wurde sie erst in dem Film Ishq Vishk zum Star. Darauf folgten Masti – Seitensprünge lohnen nicht! und Main Hoon Na, wo sie noch berühmter wurde. Zuletzt lief es nicht so gut wie zuvor, jedoch wurde ihre Leistung von den Kritikern als sehr beachtlich empfunden. Ihr letzter Film von Sooraj R. Barjatya (Vivah) erreichte wieder Erfolgsstatus.
