Petra Albrecht

Geboren ist sie zwar in Remscheid, doch ihr Herz hat sie an Düsseldorf verloren. Seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten ist die Landeshauptstadt ihre Heimat. Ihr Berufsleben startete als sie Vermessungstechnikerin, entschied sich dann aber für einen radikalen Kurswechsel.

Es folgte ein zweiter Bildungsweg mit Abitur und Studium der Germanistik und Politikwissenschaft, außerdem freie Autorentätigkeit für diverse Tageszeitungen, vor allem als Gerichtsreporterin.

1991 kam sie dann zum WDR, machte Beiträge und wurde schließlich für die Moderation gecastet. Das war 1993 und seitdem moderiert Petra Albrecht die Lokalzeit aus Düsseldorf.
