Crystal Lowe (* 20. Januar 1981 in Vancouver, Kanada ) ist eine kanadische Schauspielerin. Bekanntheit erlangte sie durch Final Destination 3 und Wrong Turn 2: Dead End. Crystals Vater war Chinese. Ihre Mutter war schottischer Abstammung. In Lowes jungen Jahren zog sie mit ihren Eltern nach Hongkong, wo sie für einige Jahren lebte.

Karriere

Crystal Lowe begann ihre Karriere als Model. Sie wurde zur „Miss Teen Oriental“ gekrönt, obwohl sie nur halb Asiatin ist. Im Alter von 15 Jahren fing Crystal an zu schauspielern und bekam eine Gastrolle in einer Episode der Serie Stargate – Kommando SG-1. 2001 schaffte sie ihren Durchbruch mit dem Film Children of the Corn. Nach zahlreichen Gastauftritten und Hauptrollen in anderen Filmen sah man Lowe 2006 in Final Destination 3 an der Seite von Mary Elizabeth Winstead und Chelan Simmons, zwei ihrer besten Freundinnen. In Scary Movie 4 und Snakes on a Plane hatte sie jeweils einen Cameo-Auftritt.

Sie wurde von Glen Morgan gefragt, ob sie Interesse an einem Remake zu Black Christmas hätte, was sie bejate. Danach sah man sie in Wrong Turn 2: Dead End - ihre bislang letzte Rolle.
