Jacqueline Bisset
 

Jacqueline Bisset [ˈdʒækəliːn ˈbɪsɪt] (* 13. September 1944 in Weybridge, Surrey, England; eigentlich Winifred Jacqueline Fraser Bisset) ist eine britische Schauspielerin.

Sie arbeitete zunächst als Model. Bereits ihre zweite Filmrolle hatte sie 1966 in Roman Polanskis Wenn Katelbach kommt, der in Berlin mit dem Goldenen Bären ausgezeichnet wurde.

Spätestens mit ihrer Hauptrolle in François Truffauts Die amerikanische Nacht (1973) etablierte sie sich in Europa als Kinostar. Sie spielte an der Seite bekannter Darsteller wie Dean Martin, Steve McQueen, Burt Lancaster, Paul Newman, Jon Voight, Marcello Mastroianni, Robert Shaw, Nick Nolte, Anthony Quinn, George Segal, Charles Bronson, Frank Sinatra, Albert Finney und arbeitete mit Regisseuren wie Sidney Lumet, George Cukor, John Huston und Claude Chabrol.

Neben Kinofilmen spielte die Britin auch in Fernsehmehrteilern und Fernsehserien mit, unter anderem in Napoleon und Josephine.

Sie ist Taufpatin von Angelina Jolie.
