Jordin Brianna Sparks (* 22. Dezember 1989 in Staten Island, New York City) ist eine US-amerikanische Sängerin.

Biografie

Jordin Sparks wurde am 22. Dezember 1989 in Staten Island, New York City als einzige Tochter von Jodi Wiedmann und Phillippi Sparks, einem ehemaligen Footballspieler, der in der NFL für die New York Giants und Dallas Cowboys spielte, geboren. Sie hat einen jüngeren Bruder, PJ (Phillippi Sparks, Jr).

Am 23. Mai 2007 gewann sie die sechste Staffel der Castingshow American Idol. Im Finale setzte sie sich gegen Blake Lewis durch.

Sie sang beim Super Bowl XLII die amerikanische Nationalhymne.
