Simone Thomalla
 

Simone Thomalla (* 11. April 1965 in Leipzig) ist eine deutsche Fernsehschauspielerin.

Simone Thomalla ist die Tochter eines Filmarchitekten und eines Fotomodells. Sie ist nicht verwandt mit dem Komödianten Georg Thomalla, und somit auch nicht seine Großnichte, wie oft behauptet wird. [1] [2] Sie wuchs in Potsdam auf und studierte an der Hochschule für Schauspielkunst „Ernst Busch“ Berlin. Ihr Debüt vor der Kamera hatte sie 1982 im TV-Film Abgefunden.

Am 6. Oktober 1989 [3] wird ihre Tochter Sophia geboren, die bereits erste Erfahrungen als Schauspielerin gesammelt hat. [4] Mit deren Vater, dem Schauspieler André Vetters, war Simone Thomalla von 1991 bis 1995 verheiratet.

Simone Thomalla lebt seit dem Jahr 2000 mit dem ehemaligen Manager von Schalke 04, Rudi Assauer, den sie im selben Jahr kennen gelernt hatte, zusammen in Gelsenkirchen.

Am 2. Februar 2006 erhielt Thomalla gemeinsam mit Rudi Assauer den Fernsehpreis Goldene Kamera in der Kategorie Bester Werbespot mit Prominenten für den Spot Überraschung der Veltins-Brauerei. Zusammen tritt das Paar auch regelmäßig in der Spielshow Typisch Frau – Typisch Mann bei RTL auf.

Simone Thomalla engagiert sich für Prominence for Charity, ein Benefiz-Event zugunsten von UNICEF.

Neben Martin Wuttke, der den neuen Kommissar Andreas Keppler spielt, wird sie die neue Kommissarin Eva Saalfeld im Tatort Leipzig des MDR. [5]
