Asia Aria Maria Vittoria Rossa Argento (* 20. September 1975 in Rom) ist eine italienische Schauspielerin und Regisseurin.

Asia Argento ist die Tochter des Regisseurs Dario Argento und der Schauspielerin Daria Nicolodi, Enkelin des italienischen Filmproduzenten Salvatore Argento (1914-1987) und Ur-Enkelin des Komponisten und Musikkritikers Alfredo Casella.

Obwohl sie bereits im Alter von neun Jahren erste Film- und Fernsehauftritte erhielt, spielte sie bis heute nur in wenigen Produktionen ihres Vaters. Für ihre Darstellungen wurde sie mehrfach ausgezeichnet, u.a. zweimal mit dem italienischen Filmpreis David di Donatello in der Kategorie „Beste Schauspielerin“. Das erste Mal erhielt sie diesen 1994 für ihre Leistung in Perdiamoci di vista!, ein weiteres Mal 1997 für Compagna di viaggio.

Seit 1994 dreht Argento zudem als Regisseurin Dokumentar- und Kurzfilme, seit 1999 (Scarlet Diva; auch Drehbuchautorin und Hauptdarstellerin) auch Spielfilme. Damit war sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt die jüngste Filmregisseurin Italiens.

Darüber hinaus veröffentlichte sie mehrere Kurzgeschichten und 1999 ihren ersten Roman (I love you Kirk), der bereits in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt wurde.

Argento ist mit dem Musiker Marco Morgan Castoldi (Bluvertigo) verheiratet und hat eine Tochter.
