Monica Bellucci (* 30. September 1964 in Città di Castello, Umbrien, Italien) ist eine bekannte italienische Filmschauspielerin.

Während ihres Jura-Studiums an der Universität von Perugia verdiente sie sich ihren Unterhalt als Model. 1988 ging sie nach Mailand und war dort bei der Agentur „Elite“ unter Vertrag und arbeitete unter anderem für Werbung von Dolce & Gabbana. 1990 begann sie ihre Filmkarriere. Der erste Auftritt in einem amerikanischen Film war in Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992). Ihre Rolle im französischen Thriller Lügen der Liebe (1996) machte sie zum Star und sie wurde für den französischen Filmpreis César nominiert. Mit ihrem Ehemann Vincent Cassel, ihrem Filmpartner in Das Appartement, Doberman und Irreversibel, hat sie eine gemeinsame Tochter, Deva, die am 12. September 2004 in Rom zur Welt kam.
