Stefanie Hertel
 

Stefanie Anke Hertel (* 25. Juli 1979 in Oelsnitz/Vogtl.) ist eine deutsche Sängerin des volkstümlichen Schlagers. Sie ist mit dem Trompeter Stefan Mross verheiratet, mit dem sie eine Tochter hat.

Leben

Stefanie Hertel stand bereits im Alter von vier Jahren mit ihrem Vater Eberhard Hertel auf der Bühne im vogtländischen Falkenstein. Mit sechs hatte sie mit dem Teddybärjodler den ersten Fernsehauftritt in der Sendung „Oberhofer Bauernmarkt“ (DDR-Fernsehen). Nach ihrem Auftritt bei Carolin Reiber in der Sendung „Volkstümliche Hitparade” nahm der Medienmanager Hans R. Beierlein Hertel unter Vertrag.

Beim Finale des Grand Prix der Volksmusik 1991 belegte sie den fünften Platz mit dem Titel So a Stückerl heile Welt und gewann den Grand Prix der Volksmusik 1992 mit dem Titel Über jedes Bacherl geht a Brückerl (geschrieben von Jean Frankfurter und Irma Holder). Im September 1992 wurde sie von RTL mit der „Krone der Volksmusik“ als „Erfolgreichste Nachwuchssängerin“ ausgezeichnet.

1995 stellte sie sich mit ihrem Lebensgefährten Stefan Mross zum dritten Mal dem Grand Prix der Volksmusik 1995. Mit Ein Lied für jeden Sonnenstrahl erreichten sie den zweiten Platz. Seither treten beide oftmals zusammen, aber auch weiterhin als Solisten auf. Sie sind Dauergäste in den verschiedenen volkstümlichen Musiksendungen des Fernsehens. 1996 absolvierte sie ihren Realschulabschluss.

Im Oktober 2001 kam ihre Tochter zur Welt, am 6. September 2006 haben Stefanie Hertel und Stefan Mross in Florida geheiratet und sich am 5. November 2006 in einer Kapelle in Hafling (Südtirol) kirchlich trauen lassen.

Im Herbst 2007 war ein neues Duettalbum geplant. Außerdem sollte eine DVD von Stefanie Hertel und Stefan Mross mit TV-Auftritten und Duettliedern erscheinen. Diese Projekte wurden aus zeitlichen Gründen vorerst auf Eis gelegt. Dafür erschien am 8. Februar 2008 ein neues Album von Stefanie Hertel mit dem Titel Stärker als die Freiheit. Im Jahr 2009 feiert Stefanie Hertel ihr 25-jähriges Bühnenjubiläum mit einer großen Deutschland-Tournee zusammen mit Ehemann Stefan Mross.
