Lita Ford
Carmelita Rossanna Ford (* 19. September 1958 in London, England), besser bekannt als Lita Ford, ist eine Rock-Sängerin und Gitarristin, die ihren größten Bekanntheitsgrad in den 1980er Jahren hatte.
International bekannt wurde Lita Ford mit der Band The Runaways, aus der bekannte Solomusiker wie Joan Jett hervorgingen. Nach der Auflösung der Runaways 1979 startete sie ihre Solokarriere. Lita Ford war von 1986 bis 1992 mit Chris Holmes, dem Gitarristen der Band W.A.S.P., verheiratet. Seit 1994 ist sie mit Jim Gillette, dem ehemaligen Sänger der Band Nitro verheiratet, mit dem sie einen Sohn hat. Zudem hatte sie eine längere Affäre mit Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe). |
