Alexa Ellesse Vega (* 27. August 1988 in Miami, Florida) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin kolumbianisch-italienischer Abstammung.

Alexa Vega hatte ihren ersten Auftritt vor der Kamera in der Fernsehserie Evening Shade (1993) und wurde durch ihre Rolle der Carmen Cortez in der Spy Kids-Trilogie bekannt.

Sie hat drei Schwestern – Krizia (* 1991), Makenzie (* 1994) und Greylin (* 2001) – und eine Halbschwester, Margaux (* 1982).

Neben der Schauspielerei ist Alexa Vega eine begeisterte Sportanglerin und übt sich in Gymnastik. Sie lebt zusammen mit ihrer Mutter Gina Rue, ihrem Stiefvater Eric James und ihren drei Schwestern in Los Angeles.

Ihr New Yorker Broadway-Debüt als Musical-Sängerin hat Alexa aktuell in "Hairspray" in der Rolle der "Penny Pingleton" an der Seite von Ashley Parker Angel, bekannt aus MTV-Fame und der Boy-Band "O-Town".
