Emily Mortimer
 

Emily Mortimer (* 1. Dezember 1971 in London, Großbritannien) ist eine britische Schauspielerin. Emily Mortimer ist die Tochter von Sir John Mortimer und Penelope Glossop. Sie studierte von 1990 bis 1994 Englisch und Russisch am Lincoln College in Oxford. Außerdem besuchte sie die angesehene St. Paul's Girls School in Barnes, London.
Seit dem 3. Januar 2003 ist sie mit Alessandro Nivola verheiratet. Am 26. September 2003 kam ihr gemeinsamer Sohn zur Welt. im Jahr 2004 zogen sie zusammen nach Los Angeles.
Mortimer spielte 2004 im Film „Lieber Frankie“ (“Dear Fankie”) eine Mutter, die zwischen der Sorge um ihren Sohn und der Hoffnung auf ein normales Leben steht.
