Zooey Claire Deschanel (* 17. Januar 1980 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Zooey Deschanel ist die Tochter des Kameramanns Caleb Deschanel und der Schauspielerin Mary Jo Deschanel. Ihre Schwester Emily Deschanel ist ebenfalls Schauspielerin.

Ihre erste größere Rolle hatte sie in dem Film Almost Famous – Fast berühmt.
