Gemma Arterton (* Januar 1986 in Gravesend, Kent) ist eine englische Schauspielerin.

Leben
Nach dem Besuch einer Grammar School in der Nähe von Gravesend wurde sie an der Royal Academy of Dramatic Art zugelassen und dort ausgebildet. Sie gab ihr Bühnendebüt als Rosaline in Shakespeares Verlorene Liebesmüh im Globe Theatre, London. Nach einigen kleineren Filmrollen tritt Arterton im neuen James-Bond-Film Ein Quantum Trost an der Seite von Daniel Craig als „Agent Fields“ auf. Der Film startet am 6. November 2008 in den deutschen Kinos.
