Erica Durance
 

Erica Durance (* 21. Juni 1978 in Calgary, Kanada) ist eine kanadische Schauspielerin.

Erica wurde in Calgary geboren und wuchs in Three Hills, Alberta auf. Nach ihrem Highschool-Abschluss zog Erica mit ihren Eltern Joel und Gail Durance nach Vancouver. Dort entdeckte sie ihre Liebe zur Schauspielerei. Ericas erste Auftritte waren in Werbespots, Gastrollen in Fernsehserien wie Tru Calling oder Andromeda folgten. Sie spielte auch eine Nebenrolle in dem Horrorfilm House of the Dead.

Im Jahr 2004 kam ihr großer Durchbruch als sie die Rolle der Lois Lane in der Fernsehserie Smallville bekam. In der vierten Staffel (2004-2005) hatte sie einige Gastauftritte und wurde zu Beginn der fünften Staffel (2005-2006) reguläres Mitglied in der Besetzung der Serie. 2006 spielte sie die Rolle der Julie in Butterfly Effect 2.

Im Januar 2005 heiratete Erica den Schauspieler David Palffy und lebt mit ihm in Vancouver, British Columbia.
