Tanner Mayes begann ihre Karriere im Jahr 2008. Ihr Debüt gab sie im Film Naughty College School Girls 52. Seitdem hat sie, laut IAFD, in 79 Filmen mitgespielt. Künstlernamen sind unter anderen Tanner Mayberry und Tanner Mays.

Seitdem hatte sie einen rasanten Aufstieg und konnte zwei Nachwuchspreise der Branche gewinnen. Den CAVR Award - Starlet of the Year erhielt sie 2009, ein Jahr später folgte der XBIZ Award als Starlet of the Year. Außerdem war sie einmal für den AVN Award nominiert.
