Vanessa Marcil, gebürtig Sally Vanessa Ortiz, (* 15. Oktober 1969 in Indio, Kalifornien) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Einem breiten Publikum wurde sie in ihrer Rolle als „Brenda Barrett“ in der Fernsehserie General Hospital bekannt. Für die Rolle, die sie ab 1992 bekleidete, erhielt sie zwei Emmy-Nominierungen in den Jahren 1997 und 1998. Sie verließ die Serie 1998 und spielte eine Gastrolle in Steven Spielbergs Fernsehfilm High Incident.

Marcil hatte ihr Kinofilmdebut im Jahr 1996 in The Rock. Nach ihrem Ausstieg bei General Hospital spielte sie in den zwei Independent-Kinofilmen Nice Guys Sleep Alone und This Space Between Us mit.

Vanessa Marcil hat zusammen mit Brian Austin Green einen Sohn. Die beiden leben zur Zeit in Los Angeles, sind jedoch getrennt. Momentan spielt sie in der US-Serie Las Vegas mit.
