Pussycat Dolls
 

The Pussycat Dolls sind ein Tanz- und Musik-Ensemble aus Los Angeles, das 1995 von Robin Antin gegründet wurde und 2005 seine erste Single herausbrachte.


Mitglieder
Nicole Scherzinger (* 29. Juni 1978, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA) ist ein Ex-Mitglied der US-Popgruppe „Eden's Crush“, die sich vor einigen Jahren trennte. Derzeit arbeitet sie an ihrem eigenen Soloalbum, dessen Veröffentlichung für Herbst 2007 geplant ist.

Carmit Bachar (* 4. September 1974, Los Angeles, Kalifornien, USA) wurde 1992 Fünfte der amerikanischen Olympia-Ausscheidung für Rhythmische Sportgymnastik. Tanzte u. a. für Ricky Martin, Justin Timberlake und Beyoncé.

Melody Thornton (* 28. September 1984, Phoenix (Arizona), USA) nahm 2003 an einem Casting für die Pussycat Dolls teil. Früher jobbte sie als Background-Sängerin. Ihr Gesang ähnelt angeblich dem von Christina Aguilera.

Jessica Sutta (* 19. Mai 1982, Miami, Florida/USA) studierte Tanz an der New World School of Arts. Danach war sie u. a. Tänzerin für das Basketball-Team Miami Heat.

Ashley Roberts (* 14. September 1981, Phoenix, Arizona, USA) nahm früher Tanzunterricht in Los Angeles und war bereits in zwei kleinen Werbespots zu sehen. Ihr Vater war Schlagzeuger der Band The Mamas And The Papas.

Kimberly Wyatt (* 4. Februar 1982, Warrensburg, Missouri, USA) war nach der Highschool Tänzerin auf einem Luxus-Kreuzfahrtschiff. Außerdem arbeitete sie als Choreografin von Nick Lachey.
