Anja Reschke arbeitet als Moderatorin für verschiedene Fernsehmagazine, wie Panorama, Extra 3 und NDR aktuell. Während ihres Studiums für Politikwissenschaft, Geschichte und Sozialpsychologie begann sie 1993 ihre Medientätigkeit als freie Reporterin beim Radiosender Antenne Bayern. Fünf Jahre später volontierte sie beim Norddeutschen Rundfunk. Im Juli 2001 übernahm sie die Moderation der Sendung Panorama und ist gelegentlich als Moderatorin des Satiremagazins Extra 3 und des Medienmagazins Zapp zu sehen.

Anja Reschke ist mit dem NDR-Sportreporter Henning Rütten verheiratet. Das Paar hat eine Tochter und einen Sohn.
